Hello there. My name is Aiden Yeh and I've been a member of the Webheads and EVO team since 2002. During that year, I also offered an EVO session on Managing NS-NNS teachers of English: Maintaining equality in the workplace I received my Master's in English Language Teaching Management from University of Surrey (UK) where I did a research on Managing Human Resources: A study of the recruitment, training and reward policies of an English kindergarten school in Southern Taiwan. I'm now doing my PhD studies (after almost 3 years of LOA) at the University of Birmingham (UK) and I'm currently writing my thesis on Taiwanese teachers in After-school programs and their attitudes towards gaining professional development. I have also been doing a lot of volunteer work for TESOL: I've been acting as the Asst. List-serv Manager for the NNEST Caucus (now transformed to an IS) for a few years now. I'm also the EVO Liaison, and quite recently- a member of the CALL-IS Committee and TESOL's Technology Advisory Committee. Aside from NNS-NNESTs issues, I'm also very much interested in blended learning and the integration of web 2.0 tools in language learning. I have been invited by Webheads and EVO's BaW session moderators to speak about my class projects as examples of how new online technologies can be successfully mixed with traditional learning environment. anson-Smith's and Joy Egbert's book "CALL Environments: Research, Practice, and Critical Issues " on Blended Learning, and chapters for TESOL's classroom practices volumes. I have been an EFL/ESP teacher for more than 30 years. I graduated in Language Teaching, have a Masters degree in Applied Linguistcs, and a Ph.D in

Education. I am currently a Full professor at Universidad Simon Bolivar, Caracas, Venezuela where I Coordinate the Graduate Studies in Education Programs and I am the Head of the Specialization in Informatics and Education. Besides teaching technology-related courses at the graduate level, I also teach English for Architecture and Urban Planning courses. A webhead since 2002, I am now the lead coordinator of the TESOL Electronic Village Online and co-moderator, with Teresa Almeida d´Eça of the Becoming a

Webhead (BaW) online Workshop. Teaching languages in Second Life is my newest adventure.

I have been working in online learning for some years now and am constantly learning myself and developing my own knowledge of emerging technologies and how to design and facilitate online learning more effectively. I work mainly in the ELT/ EAP/ESP field teaching online both as hybrid and totally online courses. I teach on university bachelor and master degree programmes in Paris France and am a freelance online trainer and language coach in the global corporate sector. My particular interests today are online pedagogy and rapid e-learning.

I'm a Webhead and was very happy co-ordinating and mentoring EVO 2008 and look forward to learning, sharing and collaborating in EVO 2009 with you all.

Hi--I'm the author, with Joy Egbert, of CALL Environments: Research, Practice, and Critical Issues, and the companion book of examples, co-authored with Sarah Rilling, Language Learning through Technology (both books to be found at TESOL.org >Publications). I was formerly the director of the TESOL Program at CSU, Sacramento, where I also ran the American Language and Culture Program. I've given many presentations on teaching with technology, and I've been working with EVO since 2002. Hope to see you in 2010.

I am a Brazilian EFL educator at a Binational center in Brasilia, Casa Thomas Jefferson. I really enjoy taking my time to learn new tricks on the web, connect to other like-minded educators, and share what I've learned in the online spaces I've landed. I'm also a proud Webhead. Hi, I am Helaine Marshall, but I go by "Laine," and I have been working with online learning since I took Vance Stevens' course on Enhancing Online Communities with Voice and Webcams back in 2003. I have participated in EVO for the last few years and for EVO 2008, I moderated a session Exploring the Big Apple - Byte by Byte and was the liaison for the EVO Coordinating Team to the TESOL Convention in New York City. At Long Island University, where I am Director of Language Teacher Education Programs, I have been moving courses online this past year and we now have a Bilingual Education Program for currently certified K-12 teachers, offered entirely online. I have created an online learning module on the Adult Learner and Core Issues in Adult ESL for ESL Fast Track, a new online Adult ESL Training Program from Central Piedmont Community College. My doctorate is in TESOL, from Teachers College, Columbia U. I have been an active member of TESOL since 1974. I look forward to working on EVO 2010 as a member of the Coordinating Team. Hi all! I'm S. Susan Marandi, from Tehran, Iran. I'm currently an assistant professor of TEFL and head of the English Department at Al-Zahra University. Some of my current interests in TEFL are CALL, language assessment, and language research. CALL is still in its infacy in Iran, so it's hard to keep up with new developments, but it's also lots of fun watching this baby grow and take its first steps! :-) And, of course, the Webheads have been very helpful babysitting! ;-) Anyway, I look forward to learning more with you and sharing with you again this year! I'm an English teacher (BA in Modern Languages) who has taught ESP courses at the Universidad Simón Bolivar: Technical and Scientific English for Engineers, English for Architects and Urban Planners.

I have taught EFL courses at different institute such as the CVA, American Language Academy, Emans Language Center and Funindes-USB.

I´ve taught General English courses to children (ages 4-12) and adults who work for different companies (In-company courses).

I also have a master degree in Applied Linguistics, and I used to do research in the area of Neurolinguistics (Dyslexia).

Nowadays, I am dedicating all my efforts to the field of Curriculum design, Course evaluation, and to the Integration of New technologies to the area of Language Teaching, as you can see.

Curriculum Design, Materials Design as well as Course Evaluation have always caught my attention, and just recently I have developed a certain interest which started out with a little curiosity for "on line courses", "On-Line Course Development", and the "Use of new technology in language teaching".

I have done some exercises on line with my students (blogs, wikis, photoblogs, podcasts), and I really like this thing!!!!

I´m a Trinidadian living in Caracas, Venezuela. I teach undergraduates and graduate students at Simón Bolívar University.
