changed "EVO2022 sessions" to "EVO2023 session" under important dates
Changed the URL for EVO Previous Sessions to the one without the %20.
changed the link to TESOL's CALL Interest Section to the actual CALL-is web site; the link to the CALL-IS TESOL Community page is incorrect as it's only for discussions/postings by members.
changed date of last update
changed "Call for Participation" to "Call for Proposals" and linked to the Call for Proposals for EVO2023 page.
I changed the dates of the mod pd and the word "training) under About EVO to avoid confusion.
I removed mention of past deadlines for Calls for Proposals and linked to Call for Participation here
Added image of EVO2022 Coordination Team referred to in the note.
Updating graphic of important dates with he correct final acceptance date.
Formatted Christine's edit with line feed, nothing more
I updated the disclaimer at the bottom. The name of TESOL's certificate and the contact info had to be changed. Jane will ask about the logo of the CALL-IS.
I removed Peter's graphic from here
uploaded Peter's final graphic, with thanks to Peter Omal
Put in new calendar graphic, set CfProp to "very soon"
Changed EVO2021 sessions to EVO 2022 sessions in bullet 7
added this wording to important dates Registration opens for EVO 2021 sessions: January 2 - 9, 2022 (the word OPENS) to point out that it is not open before Jan 1
removed the link to the old CfP that was at the bottom of this page that said The material that was here has been moved to http://evosessions.pbworks.com/w/page/144100146/Call_for_Participation_2021 - It can be reached from the link that remains at the bottom of the page, and added Registration for EVO 2021 sessions opens, tba to the Important dates for 2022 - I thought it should be there and in the graphic, but I could be easily overruled :-)
Removed you have arrived at evosessions.org
Vance, I haven't made any changes. I just don't understand why we need this info: You have arrived at http://evosessions.org -
I put dates from Peter's proposed graphics into the Important Dates column
I removed the outdated 2021 graphic and put in the dates that were on the graphic for EVO 2022, as far as I know them. Others can fill in the dates if they are award of them, and we look forward to having Peter's graphic here
Replaced 'permanent landing page' with the page name, Welcome to EVO (just tweaking)
I put the recording of the 20th here. Eventually we should pull it down and put a link to the anniversary webinar in the sidebar
put a link to the 20th aniv webinar here
splash added for CfProp 2022, just a proof of concept, can be deleted
I meant the EVO Minecraft MOOC moderator list, reconciled that with the list as per its proposal
Brought EVO moderator list in line with what it says on our proposal
added this to the top of this page See Call for Proposals Poster here: https://www.smore.com/408wx-evo21-call-for-proposals
Added YouTube channel. I think we should create videos under our EVO account on YouTube as much as possible.
Added 3 mods as to ICT4ELT as requested by Sanja on Facebook.
I removed redundant information that was on the right of the table and moved the table to the centre. I also removed the evosession wiki page of the proposals for evo20 that I had placed to make moving back and forth and adding the information.
I resized the team picture to display fully on the page. I also modified the table to display the 3rd column with mods info.
Vance repaired bookmarks so all are working. The problem was that, although the ToC plugin will FIND any element enclosed in a heading tag, it will not LINK to that heading if there is style element in the tag as well. For example, it will FIND this <h1><strong>Your Heading</strong></h1> in your wiki code and LINK to it, but if you center that heading, the code becomes <h1 style="text-align: center;"><strong>Your Heading</strong></h1>, so now the ToC will FIND it and ilst it in the ToC but NOT link to it. If you try to fix this by aligning your heading left, it still won't work because now the <H1 has been corrupted. All you can do now is either remove the style code from your HTML source or remove the corrupted heading and create a new <H1> element without aligning it, so no align code gets introduced into the heading tag (and by H1, that goes for H2, H3, etc.)
changed column3 headng to session description
changed 'left' and 'lean' in the table at bottom to 'learn'
Reduced font size of outdated notifications and added that CfParticipation will be delayed for a week
Added note that Mod PD had been rescheduled
changed proposal deadline to Sept 13 extension
Removed my any blame or credit notice; hadn't meant to leave it up so long :-)
Created a FrontPage landing page from the old page renamed from 2019_CfP_Info. This page should never again be renamed.
There is a file here called copy of 2019_CfP_info but that is a copy of the 2019 call for proposals. This WAS named 2019_CfP_Info and it WAS the 2019 call for participation. The contents of the 2019 CfPart were copied here http://evosessions.pbworks.com/w/page/127658303/Call_for_Participation_2019. This page was then replaced with the new landing page and I plan to rename it FrontPage. Let's see if it works.
This is the landing page for http://evosessions.pbworks.com/. I'm aware that the redirect has been in place for some time, but now we are seeing the consequences. That link should point to a page with links to other things people might want to reach throughout the summer, fall, winter activities of EVO. If someone can tell me how the redirect works (why it's doing that) I would be happy to try and fix it so it works properly.
Vance updated this page after Jane put the call for PARTICIPATION here by removing the call for proposals part and parking that in a backup location
made it more obvious where to go to register
Link to Call for Participation add to the top of the page to help with navigation, since this the Call for Proposals is the default page for this wiki
Oops - a wee 2014 to change ;-)
Vance playing with an alternaiive style in the previously randomly formatted heading announcing CFP, registration, and session start dates
By chance I happened to notice the proposals wiki link didn't work! - EA
typo (hand-son)
Found and resized the mobile apps logo :-)
Carla, I can't edit the image with my name/school/email. Could you change the hexagon info to include my yahoo email sandrogers123-at-yahoo.com, please. Thanks!
