Hello there. I'm a PhD student at the University of Birmingham in England. I'm also the head coordinator of the TESOL CALL-IS’s Electronic Village Online and the NNEST-IS past-Chair-(2010-2011). My research interests include blended learning, integration of technology in EFL teaching/learning, and teacher professional development. You can contact me via skype, Yahoo! Messenger, and Facebook (aidenyeh), and on twitter (motherchina). There's no better way to get ahead- join EVO 2012 sessions!

I am a Brazilian EFL educator at a Binational center in Brasilia, Casa Thomas Jefferson. I really enjoy taking my time to learn new tricks on the web, connect to other like-minded educators, and share what I've learned in the online spaces I've landed. I'm also a proud Webhead. I've been designing online courses for English learners, teaching online and I have been involved in different collaborative projects with friends all over the globe. I truly believe in the power of education to transform the learning micro-spheres of learners. That's why I love the work the Team of the Electronic Village does for the educators' community. For two years, I co-moderated the Blogging sessions. And in EVO 2009 & 2010, I was part of the Images4Education moderating team. In 2011, I co-moderated the EVO session on Digital Storytelling.
You can find more about me, projects, drives at BrazilBridges.

I have been an EFL/ESP teacher for more than 30 years. I graduated in Language Teaching, have a Masters degree in Applied Linguistcs, and a Ph.D in Education. I am currently a Full professor at Universidad Simon Bolivar, Caracas, Venezuela where I Coordinated the Graduate Studies in Education Programs and was the Head of the Specialization in Informatics and Education. Besides teaching technology-related courses at the graduate level, I also teach English for Architecture and Urban Planning courses. A proud webhead since 2002, I was the lead coordinator of the TESOL Electronic Village Online until March, 2009, but I am still part of the coordination team. I have co-moderated, with Teresa Almeida d´Eça the Becoming a Webhead (BaW) online Workshop since 2004; however, due to some health problems I have taken a year off. I also co-teach with Teresa the "Teaching Vocabulary and Grammar Online" course for the TESOL Principles and Practices of Online Teaching Certificate Program offered by TESOL.
Teaching languages in Second Life is my newest adventure. I have taught teaching Spanish at Ciudad Bonita, a mediterranean city especially created for that purpose by Languagelab.com.
Currently, apart from the I am teaching technology-related courses in two graduate programs for the UNED (The Spanish University of Distance Education).

Hi--I'm the author, with Joy Egbert, of CALL Environments: Research, Practice, and Critical Issues, 2nd ed. and the companion book of examples, co-authored with Sarah Rilling, Language Learning through Technology (both books to be found at TESOL.org >Publications). I also helped write short vignettes for the TESOL Technology Standards--published the summer of 2011 (ed. Deborah Healey). My current project is to help produce an ESL/EFL language learning game for the U.S. Dept of State.
I was formerly the director of the TESOL Program at CSU, Sacramento, where I also founded the American Language and Culture Program. I've given many presentations on teaching with technology, and I've been working with EVO since 2002. Hope to see you in 2012.
Check out resources for teachers at my homepage, Computers for Education. My blog on technology tools for teaching English is Virtual=Real. I also supervise the CALL IS Virtual Software List on Diigo. Check it out!

Currently, I wear many different hats! I spend my days scoring tests online for ETS.org, and in my spare time, I run a virtual nonprofit, BrokeButNotForLong.org, that helps folks find jobs. I'm also the educational consultant for MuchEnough.com, a social marketplace for learning. My career highlights include serving as an English Teaching Fellow to Mozambique with USIA, serving as a dual language Pre-K demonstration teacher for UCLA's laboratory school, blogging for the TESOL convention, and serving as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Honduras. I've had the great pleasure to mentor and moderate EVO sessions in the past. I'm very excited to be on the coordination team for 2012! Here's my ePortfolio that I created in the Multiliteracies 2011 session: http://teacherrogers.wordpress.com/
