I'm a Brazilian EFL educator who's passionate about teaching. I'm curious and always in search of online tools that can add value to my teaching practices and hook up students to learn. I truly believe in the transformational power education holds when we find the right means to engage, enchant and motivate our learners.
I'm a teacher trainer at a Binational Center in Brasilia. I've been more and more involved in e-learning projects, devising online sessions and teaching them. I'm a a blogging fan (or addict!) and enthusiastic Webhead.
I'm really excited about this online journey. For the past four years, I've co-moderated the Blogging4Educators and the Images4Education sessions, but I'm up to this challenge of a session with wonderful souls.

That one course opened the door to so many opportunities that I am happy to "pay it back" by being part of this collaborative course. I am also a Webcaster at EdtechTalk, blogger at TechLearning.com, member of WoW2.0, presenter and lover of technology.

Dennis Oliver
I'm DennisOliver, a former ESL and Developmental English teacher living in Phoenix, Arizona, U.S.A. I last worked at EstrellaMountain Community College, which is located near my home in Phoenix; before EMCC, I was at the American English and Culture Program at Arizona State University, and before the AECP, at the now-defunct Judson
School.
I first got involved with computers in the early 1980s; I mostly did work with keyboarding and desktop publishing at that time because I was working as an ESL/EFL textbook editor and writer. When I returned to teaching in 1990, the Web was just emerging. I began experimenting with how to use it in class, and used it regularly by the mid 90s. At EMCC, much of what I did was delivered via Blackboard, but I also made use of my own website and other online resources. I have especially good memories of a multi-year international collaborative project, An International Exchange, carried on with Carla and her students at Casa Thomas Jefferson in Brasília, Brasil.
Like others who are profiled here, I'm really excited about this online journey.
I have a number of blogs. I also manage the website for AZ-TESOL and am currently working to revamp my personal site.
